Project Leap
Awoken in a place unknown, with walls towering steep and the ground clouded by fog, help Moni navigate the vistas of this canyon.

The theme was MINIMALIST, how did we go about it?
Low poly with blending textures. Minimal UI elements. No text (Except one or two buttons). Focus on platforming with minimal other stuff.
The creation of this project had a lot of firsts for us. This was our first foray into 3D game development, our first month-long jam, and our second game jam in total! So, naturally, we learned quite a lot.

Decent and interesting, but frustrating with the lack of coyote time and strange (affectionate) level design.
The movement abilities and the aforementioned level design are creative and interesting, but to a certain extent limited in uses.
A sweet platformer where, like a true metroidvania, you've got to explore the world for the abilities needed to reach the end. There is no guiding light or pointers telling you where to go, save for some scribbles that hint at mechanics or connections. I especially liked how multiple abilites need to be used together to solve some parkours.
Good work!
